Move over man cave, and step aside, she shed, Jan and Andrew have come up with the perfect couples’ solution: a his & hers studio!
Jan & Andrew have converted their Melwood structure to serve two different purposes: a creative space for Jan, and a workshop for Andrew.
By adding an internal wall in their order, they were able to divide the structure into the two main areas.
Jan has had her space lined, painted and decorated to create a cozy, comfortable creative space.
Andrew has added shelving, storage cupboards, drawers, a pegboard and a sturdy workbench to his workshop.This gives him plenty of space for working, whilst also allowing a lot of safe, secure storage for tools and materials.

Jan & Andrew’s His & Hers Studio is the Melwood Mod Design No.18 (5.4 m x 3.2m with an additional 1.3m deck). They chose the following upgrades for their design: premium cedar cladding, internal wall and two additional double hung windows.
Their order was delivered and set up in one day by Melwood’s professional delivery team, and Jan and Andrew then arranged the conversion including interiors and decorating at their own pace.
